Nielsen hires Nicolina Marzicola as global chief people officer

Nielsen chief people officer Audience measurement, data and analytics firm Nielsen has recruited Nicolina Marzicola as its new global chief people officer.

In her new role, Marzicola will lead Nielsen’s global HR function, which is inclusive of talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, learning and development, HR operations and reporting, as well as its core HR business support function. She will also oversee talent initiatives that engage employees, connect back to strategic priorities and drive growth.

With decades of knowledge and experience in helping global organisations navigate complex business transformations, she will report to Karthik Rao, Nielsen’s chief executive officer. Most recently, Marzicola led broad people and talent management strategies at HP.
