BaxterStorey enhances employee benefits package

BaxterStorey benefits Hospitality business BaxterStorey has enhanced its employee benefits package to support its 8,000 UK staff through various life stages and circumstances.

The firm has introduced 24 weeks of fully paid enhanced maternity leave to ensure new mothers have the support they need to balance the demands of work and family. It has also replaced its paternity leave policy with a more inclusive secondary carer leave so new parents, regardless of their gender, can take four weeks of paid leave to support their partners during the early stages of parenthood.

BaxterStorey has introduced 24 weeks of paid leave for employees involved in surrogacy or adoption processes, as well as four weeks of full pay for each period of fertility treatment as part of its commitment to supporting workers through their parenthood journeys. It has also implemented three days of paid grandparent leave to allow staff to spend quality time with their grandchildren.

Further new benefits include access to Aviva Wellbeing Hub, which allows staff to take advantage of an annual health check and access to digital GPs to support those on NHS waiting lists. It has also updated its wellbeing hub to provide mental health and nutritional consultations for team members and their families, complimented with its ‘Food and Mood’ tours that educate and inspire on good food, nutrition, and wellbeing.
