Each year, independent rating agency AM Best reviews Trustmark’s financial performance and issues a series of ratings intended to give creditors and customers an objective assessment of the company’s long-term financial strength.
For the first time in 15 years, AM Best changed its assessment of Trustmark, keeping the financial strength rating at A- but revising the Outlook to Positive.
AM Best noted that the positive outlook reflects “Trustmark Group maintaining the strongest level of risk-adjusted capitalization, as measured by Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), as well as its continued trend of moderating investment risks.”
