Rolls-Royce reports 1.6% mean gender pay gap

Vehicle manufacturer Rolls-Royce has published its 2022 UK gender pay gap report, with its mean gender pay gap standing at 1.6%, a decrease from 3.2% in 2021. Its median gender pay gap for 2022 was 3.6%, down from 4.8% the prior year, while its mean gender hourly pay gap was 0.8% and its median gender hourly pay gap was 2.1%. This was lower than the UK’s 2022 national gender pay gap of 14.9%, according to the Office of National Statistics (ONS).

Half of private sector pay awards will give at least 5% raise in 2023

More than half (53%) of pay awards have given or are set to give employees increases of 5% or more in 2023, compared with a third of awards hitting that level last year, according to the latest monitoring figures from Incomes Data Research (IDR).
