John Lewis and Jaguar Land Rover among top UK employers for work wellbeing

John Lewis work wellbeingJohn Lewis and Partners, Clarks, Jaguar Land Rover and The Body Shop have been named as some of the top UK employers for work wellbeing 2023.

The inaugural Better Work Awards recognise the top employers for work wellbeing based on a study of insights and data from employees who rate and review their organisation on jobs and hiring site Indeed.

Scores out of a possible 100 are awarded based on how employers fared over the past 12 months on wellbeing across four indicators: happiness, purpose, satisfaction and stress. Employers must have received at least 100 unique ratings to be considered and must have had a minimum of 1,000 employees at the end of the 12-month period.

Suffolk-based care home provider Kingsley Healthcare topped the list with a work wellbeing score of 85. It achieved scores in the top quadrant for happiness, purpose, satisfaction and lack of stress, as well as each of the 11 sub-measurements that contribute to the overall score, such as trust, inclusion and management.
