Global Critical Logistics hires first chief people officer

Global Critical Logistics peopleGlobal Critical Logistics, a specialised logistics and freight forwarding firm across live events, fine art, TV and film production, and automotive sectors, has appointed Elizabeth Berman as its first chief people officer.

In this new role, Berman will develop an HR infrastructure that provides a high service level to both employees and customers.

Her career has included several leadership roles with revenue responsibility in both for-profit and non-profit, large enterprises, and start-ups. Previous roles she has held in the sports, entertainment, hospitality, and consumer products industries have been at organisations such as Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, Nike, Estee Lauder and Vevo.

With a firm belief in the importance of prioritising mental health for all, which she stated will be a fundamental value underpinning her work, Berman is a champion of culture as a strong foundation for success, has led in rapidly changing, high-growth environments, and is passionate about achieving a vision by attracting and developing top, diverse talent and building employee engagement.
