Employee Benefits poll: One-third (35%) of organisations do not think that the recent Employment Relations ( Flexible Working ) Bill goes far enough to support working carers, according to a survey of Employee Benefits readers. Meanwhile, 37% think that it does go far enough to support staff who are working carers , whereas 28% were unsure if it does or not.

Median monthly pay for July 2023 has been estimated at ÂŁ2,274, a 7.8% increase from July 2022 and the highest rate since 2001, according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Its latest labour market figures revealed that this was a decrease from ÂŁ2,308 in June 2023, which was a 9.7% year-on-year increase from June 2022. It was also a 22.3% increase from February 2020.

ScotRail staff accept improved pay deal
