SaaS is the most advanced form of the cloud where all parts of an offering (hardware, database, software) come from a single vendor. In 2014, a survey by the Campaign for Clear Licensing of 100 global Oracle customers found that 92% of them were deeply unhappy with the vendor. Workday is thus a true SaaS vendor.
