If you are injured in a work-related incident or suffer a work-related illness or disease, you are very likely entitled to workers’ compensation. As noted above and in earlier posts, the National Commission on State Workmen’s Compensation Laws (1972) recommended a compensation rate moving to at least 80% of spendable earnings.
