On February 21, 2023, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) issued final regulations amending the rules for filing certain tax returns and other documents by electronic means (e-filing). These requirements include applicability to Forms 1094-B and C, 1095-B and C, 1099, 5500, and W-2s, amongst others. Effective January 1, 2024, the final regulations will require many filers that had been submitting information via paper format to begin e-filing instead.

According to Superdrug, this raise was implemented to ensure all of its pharmacists continue to receive a strong renumeration package. There are currently 155 pharmacists working for the employer, with an average length of service of seven years.

Retailer John Lewis has announced that it will not be giving its employees a bonus for this year, after reporting a £234 million loss. The bonus is its annual share-out of profits, and all staff receive it as a percentage of their salary. The 2021/22 bonus was worth 3% of employees’ pay. Its unaudited results for the year ending 28 January 2023 reported that sales fell by 2% overall, and by 3% at Waitrose.
