Employee Benefits poll: More than one-third (39%) of organisations said that private medical and dental insurance is the most popular form of employee financial support that they offer, according to a survey of Employee Benefits readers. One in 10 (11%) respondents answered that holiday purchase or sell back options was their most popular form of employee financial support , while 9% said this was death-in-service benefits.

Changes Coming to Electronics, Dual-Wage Class Codes

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California will recommend changes to class codes for some electronics manufacturing sectors, as well as increases to the wage thresholds for construction industry dual classifications. The move comes after the Rating Bureau’s governing committee unanimously approved proposed changes, which will be sent in March to the state insurance commissioner for approval.

Network Rail reports 7.4% mean gender pay gap for 2023

Network Rail has reported a 7.4% mean gender pay gap for 2023, down from 8.6% in 2022 and 9.9% in 2021.
